Product Description
Originally conceived as a design challenge to consider transforming apparel, this poncho incorporates materials ranging from Dyneema®? (the same super-strong fabric used on the Mars Yard Overshoe), to ceramic beads created by Sachs’ studio. With an 'exploding' structure, this poncho begins as a fanny pack of sorts, equipped with a fidlock buckle and a pair of nylon ripcords. Pulling the ripcords provides a parachute-like effect, unveiling a full-size poncho. A waterproof style, it is finished with ceramic embellishments and printing on the back of the garment, proudly announcing the location of manufacture: Vietnam.
