ADIDAS X WALES BONNER

Launching Tuesday 21st May 08:00 BST. Adidas Originals and Wales Bonner return to present their Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Inspired by the enduring legacy of East African runners, the British designer, and the brand with the Three Stripes travel to the Home of Champions in Iten, Kenya. With the spirit of the marathon at its heart, each piece in the collection is an ode to resilience, endurance, and dedication.

The brand behind the original penny loafer, G.H. Bass create timeless footwear styles that champion quality, durability and traditional craft. Made using bench-crafting and hand-stitching methods, G.H. Bass combine classic handcraft by skilled artisans with a contemporary world through limited edition collaborations and their signature in-demand style, the Weejuns.

NIKE

Before there was Nike, there were two men who pioneered a revolution within the athletics industry that redefined the trainers industry completely. Coaches and athletes themselves, the group formed Blue Ribbon Sports, a store that would eventually lay the foundations for Nike. Into the 70's and Nike were starting to become noticed, not only for there distinctive Swoosh logo, but also for the lightweight construction of their track and field footwear.

ARTWORDS BOOKSHOP

ARTWORDS is an independent bookshop founded in 2001 that specialise in books and zines on the contemporary visual arts and visual culture. For 20 years they were close neighbours of ours, with their first store on Rivington Street and are now staples of Broadway Market. They have been much missed in Shoreditch so we asked them to curate an edit of books for the Goodhood community that will be forever evolving.

STRANGER THAN PARADISE

We’ve teamed up with our friendly record store neighbours Stranger Than Paradise to curate an ever-evolving edit of records and special edition vinyls, available online and in-store from our record wall. Ran by three long time friends and named after Jim Jarmusch’s 1984 masterpiece, Stranger Than Paradise is an Independent record store in the heart of Hackney, dedicated to sourcing a carefully curated selection of the best new release, reissue and special edition vinyl.

UNIFIED GOODS

We're working with progressive vintage dealer Unified Goods to create an ongoing guest space that will house a library of unique goods, curated by head honcho James Goodhead. Expertly sourced, culture defining, cult status clothing and lifestyle objects from around the globe, featuring artefacts spanning the realms of post-punk, 90's era Warp Records, the halcyon eras of skate culture, iconic Anime or Japanese Street Fashion.

OCTI

Octi explores how shapes, patterns and textures from the natural world can become miniature sculptures worn on the body. By casting directly from the skins of fruits/vegetables or by sculpting organic shapes in wax with line drawings, fragments of nature are captured in precious metals.

Sub Sun is a sunglasses brand steeped in the tradition of London's underground music culture. It is built to serve, support and supply those who participate in and enjoy this culture: from centre stage to front left. Created by Bradley Zero, founder of Rhythm Section institution, Resident Club DJ, Broadcaster and Label Boss of one of the most exciting new imprints today – Rhythm Section International. The sunglasses are cut from the highest quality Mazzucchelli acetate, barrel spun for 30 days then hand finished and fitted with CR39 UV400 scratch resistant lenses.

BEAMS PLUS

Established in 1976 in Harajuku, Tokyo, BEAMS started out as an American lifestyle shop. A pioneer of lifestyle retailing, BEAMS shops are finely curated with an international selection of designer wears and in-house private labels. With more than 150 shops across Japan, Hong Kong, Beijing, Taipei, and Bangkok, BEAMS has grown into a major lifestyle retailer with businesses in fashion, home furnishing, arts, café and dining. In 1999 the brand started BEAMS PLUS, a collection built on the timeless, American styles that BEAMS was originally founded on; a pursuit of authenticity in next-generation casualwear.

SNOW PEAK

Founded by Japanese-born mountaineer Yukio Yamai in 1958, Snow Peak was born out of a dissatisfaction with outdoor products and a desire to create the most superior gear on the market. Fast forward to today and the brand is continuing to do just that. Hailing from Niigata Prefecture, where the sky meets sea via a mountain range rising up to 8,000 ft, the brand is one of Japan's leaders in the outdoors. TOGA X PORTER & YOSHIDA CO.

Porter & Yoshida & Co's history dates back to 1935, when Kichizo Yoshida set up his workshop. Yoshida's vision was to produce the best bags possible, and he believed that Japanese craftsmen were the best in the world. The company's slogan is 'heart and soul in every stitch', and has stuck with the company throughout its entire history. Usually, each bag is produced by one craftsman from beginning to end, and the aim is to constantly improve the process over time. These are some of the best bags in the world for us.
